This piece of equipment can provide a 2 or 3 dimensional representation of what is going on inside the tree. The tree also calculates the amount of strength loss in the section assessed and provides valuable information in the risk assessment process.

The Resistograph unit is another piece of equipment that is very useful in determining the extent of decay inside a tree. This tool is able to be used a as part of an aerial assessment or to assess decay in tree roots to assist in gaining valuable information to manage risk in trees.
